FUNERAL COSTS
The cost of a funeral service varies, depending on the options you and your family select.
Brisbane Funeral Care provides a wide range of options and services that allow you and your family to tailor a funeral to suit your personal, cultural and religious requirements. Funeral Service Costs Include:
1. Funeral Director's charges
Our professional service fee includes the tasks and services involved in arranging and conducting a funeral service, including the transfer of the deceased into our care, specialist mortuary care and dressing of the deceased, provision of hearse and staff on day of the funeral service.
2. A Coffin or Casket as selected
We offer a wide range of coffins and caskets for you to select from that cater to budget and personal choice. The cost of a coffin/casket depends entirely on the construction, type, quality, finish and style that is chosen.
3. Disbursements or Expenses paid on your behalf
for the funeral service including:
• Registered Death Certifcate
• Cemetery or Crematorium Fees
• Clergy or Celebrant Fees
• Floral Tributes
• Venue Hire Fees
• Death and Funeral Notices
• Catering
• Medical Certificate required for Permission to Cremate
4. Additional service offerings
Upon request we offer a range of additional options and services to help celebrate, including a large range of contemporary memorial attendance books, order of service booklets, keepsake memorial bookmarks, thank you cards, life dvd presentations, memorial candles, memorial cremation urns and mourning cars to transport the family to the funeral service.
5. Goods and Services Tax
All costs are inclusive of Goods and Service Tax (GST) where applicable.
Prior to the day of the funeral service taking place we will confirm the actual costs of the choices you have made and a 50% deposit will need to be paid to help cover the disbursements or expenses paid on your behalf by us. Accounts can also be provided prior to the funeral service for presentation to the bank of the deceased person for direct payment from their bank account.
